With the celebration of Ramiro Lacayo’s 70^th birthday, The Americas Collection wants to celebrate the life and work of such an excellent artist, who has dedicated most of his life to diverse artistic practices. We want to tell you the story of a man that has been involved in some of the most important events in the recent history of Nicaragua. Lacayo played an important part in its cultural scene as a photographer, filmmaker, author, and visual artist; all of these and more, have transformed Ramiro Lacayo into one of the most iconic figures in his home country.
